Roll Description Chemical Spill Rolls General Description Specifically for use with chemical spills and hazardous liquids Bright yellow colour to indicate hazardous material Use in all areas of chemical plant and chemical manufacturing Can be used on caustics, acids, solvents oils and fuels as well as many common fluids Continuous or Perforated Roll Single Weight - Normally between 175 and 200 grams per square metre Double Weight - Normally between 250 and 275 grams per square metre Premium Weight - Normally between 350 and 400 grams per square metre Available in bonded or Non Bonded format. Bonded rolls are formed by bonding two layers of standard meltblown polypropylene. This creates a higher surface area, which enables rolls to soak up liquids quickly. It also increases strength and lowers linting of fibres.
